Two practices.
One discipline.

KWETU operates two complementary lines of work — tender consulting as our flagship advisory practice, and supply across four government-procured categories. Both are built on the same principle: rigorous preparation, on-time delivery, and the patience to do procurement properly.

Direct supply across four licensed categories to government ministries, agencies, councils, and parastatal buyers. We hold active operating credentials and deliver against Tanzanian public procurement standards.

Four categories.
Built around how Tanzania buys.

Each of our four supply categories is chosen because it matches active demand from Tanzanian government and institutional buyers, and because KWETU holds the supplier relationships, logistics capacity, and category expertise to deliver to specification, on time.

Office Equipment & Stationery

Computers, printers, paper goods, filing systems, consumables — sourced from established Dar es Salaam dealers with quality guarantees.

Printing Services

Corporate stationery, branded materials, training and conference packs, large-format printing — turnkey production through trusted B2B print partners.

Construction Materials

Cement, steel, aggregates, hardware, finishes — supplied to government and institutional construction contracts under proper documentation.

Furniture & Office Fit-Out

Desks, seating, conference furniture, storage — supplied from local manufacturers and trusted importers, with assembly and installation included.

The five-step
tender lifecycle.

Every tender — whether KWETU is bidding directly or supporting a client — moves through the same disciplined five-step process. No shortcuts. No "we'll figure it out at submission." This is how procurement is meant to be done.

01

Opportunity

NeST monitoring, sector intelligence, and qualified-buyer matching — we identify tenders where the client can credibly win.

02

Assessment

Go / no-go evaluation against scope fit, deadline realism, buyer credibility, and competitive density.

03

Preparation

Technical methodology, work plan, team CVs, equipment list, QA approach, pricing build-up, and the full compliance pack.

04

Audit

Pre-submission audit against the RFP checklist, evaluation criteria, and 80/20 technical-financial split.

05

Submission

Submission on NeST or by the buyer's required channel, with clarification handling and post-award support included.

Flagship practice

KWETU — which means "our home" — was founded in 2014 in Dar es Salaam to bring discipline, transparency, and operational excellence to the Tanzanian public procurement market. The name reflects our orientation: we are of this market, not visiting it.

Public procurement in Tanzania is governed by the Public Procurement Act of 2023 and regulated by PPRA. The framework rewards bidders who understand it deeply, prepare rigorously, and deliver consistently. Most importantly, it rewards those who treat compliance as a discipline rather than a chore.

We believe winning a tender means nothing if you cannot deliver against it. Preparation, delivery discipline, and reputation are inseparable.

Our flagship tender consulting practice exists because we have learned, contract after contract, what separates winning bids from also-ran ones. We bring that learning to clients who want to participate in public procurement seriously — not opportunistically.

Alongside consulting, we operate as a direct supplier across four categories — office equipment and stationery, printing, construction materials, and furniture — to government ministries, agencies, councils, and parastatals. Every delivery is documented, every contract honoured, every relationship maintained.

Let's discuss your
next tender.

Whether you are preparing a bid, looking for a reliable supplier, or seeking advisory support across the procurement lifecycle — we would value the conversation. We work with serious clients on serious work.
